There are a lot
of different types of online business and low interest personal credit cards
available today. Some of the major card companies are Chase, Fleet, Capital
one, Discover, Bank One, MBNA and Amex. Each of these companies offer very low
interest credit cards and some even offer 0 apr (zero percent APR) as an incentive.
Since interest rates have dropped over the past few years, there are a lot of
companies who offer low interest fixed cards.
We've put together
this list of some that we think are solid offers, and vary according to your
situation. Most of these companies offer great promotion rates or giveaways
as teasers to apply. Definitely worth applying for if you are in the market
for a credit card:
Note:
Please use credit cards responsibly. We are high advocates of staying out of
debt so we suggest paying off the balances on your cards each month to avoid
the buildup of unsecured debt. There are many competitive credit cards out there,
so, if you are paying high interest on a credit card, chances are you can get
one here with a lower rate. Review the offers they make on each site. Look for
the fixed APR (after the teaser rates expire) and the annual fees.
With good credit,
you should be able to get between 8-12% fixed on a credit card with no annual
fee. With bad credit you may get denied or get an exorbitant rate above 20%.
Be careful not to apply to too many cards at once, as the "inquiries"
will cause your credit score to drop. For more information on what causes bad
credit, visit BadCreditMortgageRate.com.
